Gwallgofiaid is a not for profit social enterprise that has been providing creative training for the young people of Blaenau Ffestiniog since 2003.
Gwallgofiaid use 2 spaces in Cellb (the old police station of Blaenau) where workshops in creative arts and media are facilitated.
The Cinema, owned and run by Gwallgofiaid, is a not for profit initiative & the company’s goal is for the surlpus from the cinema to subsidise the cost of the arts workshops.

The Gwallgofiaid Crew of 2007 have recently led a project where they passed on their artistic skills to a new generation of young people from the town.
1. WORKSHOP PROGRAMME
* Film making,
* Music
* DJ–ing
* Creative writing
* Blogging
* Cinema programming
* Film literature
and provide the space and time for additional activities and events for young people between the ages of 11-17 to meet and get creative.
2. CINEMA PROGRAMME
* Young families – parents or carers with children aged 2-6 & 6-12 at matinees
* Young people – our young programmers and youths aged 12 16 & 16-25
* Pensioners – collaborating with Age Cymru on ‘Forum’ screenings, Film education / ‘Into Film’ programme for people aged 2 – 25
